Sean Weese’s Story

The owner and lead coach of Weese Physiques LLC, Sean is a current NPC physique competitor, and holds a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science and a Bachelor’s in Nursing.

My name is Sean Weese, owner of Weese Physiques LLC. All of my life, I have had a passion for fitness. It always felt like the one thing I could control, and no other outside influences can change the hard work you were willing to put in for yourself. Being that fitness was how I defined myself in my teenage and high school years, it only made sense for that to be my area of study, and I graduated with a Bachelor’s in Kinesiology/Exercise Science from NIU in 2014. After college, I wanted to apply what I learned on myself. This led me to doing multiple physique competitions throughout 2015-2019 at the local and national level. My success there led my friends to be interested enough to have me practice my principles on them, which is where Weese Physiques started back in 2015. Using my friends as practical experience proved incredibly beneficial, but I wanted more. I felt an “Imposter syndrome” through success, because deep down, I knew that there were other demographics that would not be as easy. I needed to know more, and be able to serve all types of clients. This led me to nursing school to not only get an even greater understanding of the body but also educate myself on common medical conditions that different demographics would have as I aimed to train them and get them in the best shape of their lives. This eventually led me back to nursing school to become a Nurse Practitioner, and aim to put the pieces together between, nutrition, dieting, weight training, conditioning and western medicine. I always like to joke with my clients that “your online trainer does not know anything about your medical conditions, and your primary care provider won't offer you much in terms of exercise and nutrition”. I aim to serve as a liaison of both, and offer insight and specifically tailored programs to you so that we can not only get you looking and feeling your best, but put yourself in the best position to be in peak physical and mental health as well.
